Join us in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge for a rejuvenating five-day, women-only Spring retreat centered on creativity, connection, and adventure. Hosted in charming downtown Bingen, this retreat is designed to spark your artistic spirit while immersing you in the stunning natural beauty of the Gorge.
Each day begins with breakfast, followed by a hands-on art workshop led by local artists. You’ll explore a variety of mediums, thoughtfully curated for beginners and creatives of all levels. After lunch, we’ll head out for guided afternoon adventures through the Gorge, from scenic hikes and wine tasting to e-bike rides and gallery tours. In the evenings, we’ll dine together at one of our favorite local restaurants.
Expect a balanced blend of creative learning, group excursions, and sightseeing, with plenty of downtime to enjoy the spa at the Society Hotel in Bingen, where retreat guests will be staying. We designed this retreat for women who have always “wished they were creative.” The truth is, you are. Come discover your inner creative spark, make new friends, and be inspired by the incredible sights and adventures of the Columbia River Gorge.
What’s Included:
Lodging
Enjoy four nights at The Society Hotel and Spa, just blocks from the workshop venue. You'll stay in a double-occupancy cabin featuring private queen bedrooms, a shared kitchenette and bathroom, and a cozy outdoor hammock and patio space. The Society Hotel also has a beautiful spa with a large luxurious dry sauna and several different soaking pools for guest use.
Artistic Workshops
Daily morning workshops (all materials included) in:
- Linocut
- Metalsmithing
- Pottery
- Stained Glass
- Cyanotype & Textile Dyeing
(Subject to change based on instructor availability. If changes occur, a full five-day artistic experience will still be provided.)
Adventures & Experiences
- Guided hikes in the Columbia River Gorge
- Hood River art gallery tour
- Afternoon of wine tasting
- E-bike ride through the scenic countryside
- Optional spa time and/or solo exploring
Meals & Transportation
- Daily catered breakfast and lunch
- Chef's dinners at top local restaurants *Monday - Thursday only
- All transportation to and from scheduled retreat activities
Not Included:
Spending money, hotel incidentals, alcohol purchases, additional activities, any gratuities for services outside of the retreat itinerary.
Retreat Requirements:
Guests must be 21+. All workshops are beginner-friendly. While there are no physical requirements, this retreat is designed for guests who can walk comfortably on uneven terrain for 2–3 hours without assistance.
Pricing & Cancellation Policy:
This retreat requires a minimum of six participants to proceed and will have a maximum of 10 guests. You’ll be notified of event confirmation or cancellation no later than 30 days prior.
- 50% of the retreat fee is non-refundable up to 30 days before the event.
- No refunds within 30 days of the retreat start date.
- If the retreat is cancelled by the host, you’ll receive a full refund.
- In the event of instructor illness, the schedule may be adjusted to ensure you receive five full days of creative instruction. Additional metalsmithing may be offered in place of other mediums as needed.
- No refunds will be provided in the case of force majeure.
