Statement Ring Workshop

Join me for a single-day, metalsmithing workshop at our beautiful new studio in downtown Bingen! This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginner to intermediate students 18+ who are curious about the world of metalsmithing. You'll walk away from this workshop with a one of a kind statement ring crafted from high quality turquoise or jasper set in sterling silver.
Please note: This class moves fast and therefore is best suited for guests looking for a fun experience and a high quality keepsake piece of jewelry. Students wishing to learn (and retain) the basic fundamentals of metalsmithing are encouraged to look into my three to five day workshops.
During the workshop we’ll cover:
- Core metalsmithing techniques: soldering, sawing, forming, bezel setting, and finishing work
What to Expect
Each student will have their own dedicated workspace, fully equipped with the tools needed for your project. I'll walk you through each step of crafting your own statement ring and be available throughout the day with one-on-one support as needed.
What’s Included
- Enough silver sheet and wire to complete your personal statement ring
- Access to a wide selection of high quality stones from my inventory, including turquoise, jasper, and more
- All tools needed for workshop use
- Six hours of instruction
Additional silver will be available for purchase at daily Rio Grande pricing, if needed.
Lunch + Amenities
We’ll take a 1 hour lunch break part way through the day. Lunch is not provided, but students are welcome to bring their own. Our studio has a full size fridge, microwave, glassware, and utensils for your convenience. Both Bingen and White Salmon offers several nearby dining options, all within walking distance or a short drive.
Sales, Registration, & Cancellation Policy
This workshop requires a minimum of four participants to proceed and will have a maximum of eight.
You’ll be notified of event confirmation or cancellation no later than 3 days prior. This is a small business with limited capacity, so please read our cancellation policy carefully:
- 50% of the course fee is non-refundable up to 30 days before the event.
- No refunds within 30 days of the class start date.
- If the class is cancelled by the host, you’ll receive a full refund.
- No refunds will be provided in the case of force majeure.
