I finally got my hands on some high grade Morrisonite – also known as the King of Jaspers – and it cut up beautifully. The colors within this stone show deep greens, cream, and soft yellows. I set the stone simply in sterling silver with a touch of hand stamping and attached the pendant to a strong but lightweight rolo chain. The chain measures 18 inches and attaches in front with my signature S hook. Photos represent the true color of the stones in varying light. Made slowly and with intention, this piece is rustic yet refined.
All pieces are made by me in my studio in the Columbia River Gorge. This artisan piece is handmade and will therefore show some natural imperfections. These imperfections are what makes each piece unique, organic, and one of a kind. Pieces are made slowly to ensure heirloom quality, and with proper care can be handed down for generations.
