What: Four hour sun hat workshop with Jen of Nightshade Hat Co.

What's included: One Guatemalan palm leaf hat + leather trim. Four hours of instruction.
Join us in downtown Bingen WA for a four hour workshop with Jen of Nightshade Hat Co. During this workshop Jen will walk you through customizing the sun hat of your dreams. This workshop includes one beautiful and high quality Guatemalan palm hat which you'll personally be able to customize in your size and style before adding a trim of hand stamped leather with suede lacing and an optional stampede string.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as all ages. Students are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages. The workshop space has a fridge, microwave, glassware, and cutlery for use.
Palm leaf hats offer superior sun protection, breathability, and durability making them perfect for hot climates and outdoor activities including gardening, horseback riding, boating, beach trips, hiking, fishing, and more. Woven palm leaf blocks 99% of UV-A and UV-B light, giving them a rating of UPF 50+. With a 7 strand weave these hats are tough and made to last making them a fine option for sun protection year after year.
Sales and cancellation policy:
In order to ensure your palm leaf hat properly fits, Jen will need your measurements 7 to 10 days prior to the workshop event date. You are required to include a phone number when purchasing this workshop to ensure that Jen is able to contact you to get your measurements prior to the closure date. When checking out, please include a contact number in the notes section.
Both Jen and Kim are operating small (single individual) businesses with minimal margins, as such the cancellation policy for this workshop is as follows: 50% of your workshop fee is considered non-refundable in cases of withdrawal for all students up to 30 days of the workshop. Course fee is non-refundable within 30 days of the workshop. If we cancel this workshop then 100% of your fee will be reimbursed.
