One day I sat down and decided to draw. I was playing with stencils and stones and little bits and pieces. A few minutes into the process a handful of designs began to emerge. These earrings came to life through the process of sketching and I think I may now be repeating that process monthly. These stud earrings feature some gorgeous teal blue turquoise. I wanted them to have some movement, some texture, and a bit of gold. I left the silver rough with a deep patina so it would look a little aged. Each earring weighs 4 grams making them ultra lightweight and perfect for sensitive ears. They are 2 inches in length.
All pieces are made by me in my studio in the Columbia River Gorge. This artisan piece is handmade and will therefore show some natural imperfections. These imperfections are what makes each piece unique, organic, and one of a kind. Pieces are made slowly to ensure heirloom quality, and with proper care can be handed down for generations.
