Collection: The Hot Springs Collection

Last summer I road tripped to Montana for a friends wedding and along the drive home we stopped at many hot springs throughout multiple states.  My favorite sections were along the Salmon and Payette rivers in Idaho.  Upon returning home I immediately started planning my next trip and just this month checked off my second (now annual) hot springs road trip.  This collection is in honor of the warm springs, the pristine rivers, and the many dispersed campsites along the way.  When I think of hot springs I think of steam rising up from cracks in the rocky soil, the color of clay earth, and the pebbled bottoms of their shallow pools.  The best hot springs, in my opinion, are the ones that bubble up along the sides of a river, where steaming hot water can mix and mingle with cool fresh flowing water, allowing you to warm or cool to your preference.  You’ll notice this collection is full of color, and a repeated theme of warm and cool tones are present in the color palette.  The designs are simple, allowing the colors of each piece to take center stage.  I had big plans to make additional pieces, but after soaking for days on end in the earth's warmest waters, I returned home feeling satisfied with life and satisfied with these current offerings.  Perhaps I’ll do a hot springs collection round two next month… until then, thank you sincerely for considering my work.
