Sterling silver hawks are first worked using a process called reticulation, which creates a unique texture within the metal. No two pieces will ever look the same as the results from reticulation cannot be duplicated. Once formed the hawks are set on sterling silver hoops and can be finished with a moon phase in brass or a single brass crescent moon. A satin + textured finish gives these earrings an organic and rustic feel. Ear wires are .925 sterling silver. All elements are hand sawed, stamped, formed, and finished. Each pair is handmade + one of a kind, and as such the pair you receive may have some slight variations from these photographed.
