When the leaves started falling earlier this year I took notice. I've always been captivated by the natural world, if you're not, I might argue that you're just not paying attention. When I started metalsmithing, I became even more captivated, likely because the earth is my ultimate inspiration. And I'm excited to have a medium in which to work that allows me to bring those moments of awe into something tangible. These earrings feature some super earthy Royston Ribbon turquoise set as studs, with a sterling silver hoop and hand sawed brass leaves below. When worn they have the nicest movement, the feeling of leaves falling, caught up in little funnels of wind. Sterling silver ear backs. Sturdy but light, each earring weighs just 0.4 ounces. 3" in length at their longest point. I hope you love them and never want to take them off.
